The Hand Up Youth Food Pantry at Jewish Family Service of San Diego is raising awareness about hunger issues by offering free screenings of the film “1-in-7” throughout March and April. The organization is one of six organizations that are collaborating on the anti-hunger initiative.
The dates and times of the screening are as follows:
- Thursday, March 17 from 6 – 7:30 at the Lawrence Family Center JCC
- Thursday, March 31 from 6 – 7:30 at the Lawrence Family Center JCC
- Sunday, April 10 from 10:30- 12 at NTC Promenade
- Thursday, April 14 from 6 - 9 pm at St. Paul’s Cathedral
The screenings will also have discussions that ultimately will seek inspiring solutions to the problems of hunger. All of the screenings will feature food, some offering light refreshments and others pizza and dinner.
