Classroom Jeopardy

Fourth and fifth graders at Valencia Park try out their new Jeopardy game.

Surprised fourth and fifth graders walked into their Valencia Park classroom to find their day was not a typical one. NBC 7/39 was there to present them with a Classroom Jeopardy game console.

Their teacher, Deborah Hedgren, won the game for her class as part of an NBC 7/39 giveaway.

Students were divided into three teams and played a round of Classroom Jeopardy.

In her entry form, Hedgren said the same console would be "a great way to get students excited and motivated. I would use it as a tool to help students who are reluctant learners and those who are struggling."
