Don’t tread on Chuck Norris, unless you’re in Slovakia.
Slovaks have reportedly been mulling whether to name a new pedestrian and cycling bridge near their capital after ‘80s action star and martial arts expert Chuck Norris.
The cross-border bridge with Austria will span the Morava river and its name has been put up for an Internet vote, Reuters reported.
With voting set to run through April, Norris is rocking a 74 percent lead with 1,157 votes – proving the “Delta Force” star’s macho mien holds kitschy appeal well beyond U.S. borders.
Runner-up “Maria Theresa Bridge” is named after an Austro-Hungarian empress and lags at 8 percent of the vote, according to Reuters.
A regional assembly will have final say on the bridge’s name, but regional Gov. Pavol Freso said the body plans to follow the peoples' wishes.
