The Cup Blowing Challenge has provoked a new slew of videos on social media. Participants place one cup inside another, with a third cup several inches away. They blow on the top cup, hoping it will jump from one bottom cup to the other.
Many have tried the Cup Blowing Challenge; not all have succeeded. Some used it as an excuse to procrastinate before finals, while others were in the middle of a work break. Still others just wanted to master a new viral trick before their children.
“Just completed first cup blowing challenge!! Yes b4 my kids could do it,” one Twitter user wrote.
Critics are calling the trend yet another millennial time-waster, and cup enthusiasts are claiming they blew cups long before it was cool.
