When Ana Lee Spray peeked into her garage, she encountered a sight almost too surreal to believe.
Her three toy chihuahuas, which weigh about three pounds each, had cornered a full-grown female mountain lion. Spray, who lives in Sage, Calif., in Riverside County, brought her dogs inside and immediately called 911.
Spray took a video of the event on her cell phone from her daughter's bedroom, where a window looks into the garage.
A Fish and Game warden attempted dislodge the mountain lion with rubber bullets. When the cougar began to advance, the warden blasted it with a shotgun and killed it.
None of the chihuahuas were hurt.
