For the rest of us who want to peer into the future of technology -- via Apple's innovative thinking -- we thank PatentlyApple.com. They've compiled a top 10 most kick-ass patent applications for the Cupertino Wonder.
Since 2010 was basically the year of the iPad, what other ideas are flowing through Apple's product design pipeline?
How about a solar-charging phone battery, for those days on the beach? Or completely new photo-swiping finger action for phones and pads?
Some other patents include 3D holographic projection displays and a possible return of the stylus -- but those weren't even cool enough to make the top 10!
Apple keeps pushing the envelope and we keep buying stuff.
Everyone's winning so far -- everyone except for any other luxury-, aspirational-brand consumer electronics makers.
