Instagram Now Available for Android Users

We're posting, sharing and curating photos tagged #SanDiegoGram on the mobile photo app

The much anticipated Instagram for Android finally launched on Tuesday.

With more than 15 million users worldwide, Instagram is one of the most popular apps ever made for the iPhone. Now Android users can also snap and share their memories using the popular app.

The free photo-sharing app allows users to apply filters to pictures for some extra character.

With more than a dozen filters, borders and selective focusing, users have found new ways to punch up their pics and make their images really pop.

We want to show off those photos.

So the next time you take an Instagram photo you want to share with us, just include the hashtag #SanDiegoGram.

We're putting together the very best and will feature them online.

The app is free to download. You can follow our photos on Instagram by searching for user NBCSanDiego.
