Relief efforts for Typhoon Haiyan victims are being fueled by Bay Area technology.
San Francisco-based Mozilla, which has produced web browser Firefox, has created a way to donate to the Red Cross with one click.
"It means a lot to be in a position to help," said Debbie Cohen of Mozilla.
In Cupertino, Apple has also installed on its iTunes page a way for people to instantly donate to relief efforts.
Technology is the latest way the Bay Area is lending a hand to aid those affected in the Philippines.
San Jose State University students this week started relief drives to collect food, clothing and other items to be sent to victims.
