PADRES: The Friars continue their home stand this week. The Pittsburgh Pirates are in town Tuesday-Thursday before the St. Louis Cardinals head to Petco Park for a weekend series. Saturday it’s a 5:40 p.m. start and Tyson Ross Jersey T-Shirt giveaway day.
GULLS: The Gulls head to Texas Thursday and Saturday to face the Stars in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs.
ALBION PROS: There’s National Premier Soccer League action in San Diego this weekend when the Albion Pros host the Corinthians Saturday at 5 p.m. at Mission Bay High School.
NC BATTALION: San Diego’s other NPSL team is on the road this weekend. Sunday the North Country Battalion are at Deportivo Coras.
