The Lakers are driving down from LA in October for a game against Golden State, according to team officials.
The game, set for Oct. 21, will take place at the San Diego Sports Arena. Tickets for the contest go on sale Monday. The Lakers recently announced their exhibition schedule, which will also feature games in Barcelona and London. Expected to be on hand for the game is San Diego native and Laker forward Luke Walton.
The game in San Diego is part of a tradition dating back to 1999. The Lake Show are 6-4 since '99 (no game was played during the 2007 wildfires).
Ticketmaster put seats on sale on Monday and are still available.
