Patriotic Selfie Could Get VIP Pass to Farmers Insurance Open

Contest is open to current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces

If you’re a member of the U.S. military with a smartphone and a penchant for taking selfies, you could snag one of hottest tickets in San Diego.

The 2015 Farmers Insurance Open takes place Sunday, Feb. 8 at Torrey Pines. Some of the biggest names in golf from around the world will compete and fans will be there to watch every swing and putt.

Now, there’s a chance for one lucky member of the U.S. Armed Forces (and 19 close friends) to win tickets to the tourney and a VIP party on the 18th fairway.

The prize is a Pacific Club Suite hosted by AT&T valued at $6,000.

To enter, you must submit a “patriotic selfie” using the hashtag #ATTSalutes and/or a brief description of why you, or someone else who has served or is serving, deserve the special day.

The deadline to enter is January 31. Contest organizers say the winner will be picked at random.
