Padres ace Tyson Ross provided the pitching. Outfielder Abraham Almonte provided the offense. The result was a 4-1 Padres win Tuesday night at Petco Park to even the series with Milwaukee at a game apiece.
Ross (12-12) pitched into the seventh inning and allowed just one run and four hits. It was Ross' 13th quality start in a row, extending his Padres record. Almonte homered in the first, had a pair of RBI's and scored twice.
