Rivers Among Chargers at Team Complex

Quarterback Philip Rivers was among San Diego Chargers players on hand at Chargers Park on Friday morning, their first chance to work out at the facility since the lockout began.

Team spokesperson Bill Johnston said players talked with coaches during the morning. Some players watched game film.

Johnston says the main attraction was the weightroom.

Other players, such as offensive linemen Nick Hardwick, Kris Dielman and Jeromey Clary, were also reportedly on-site.

The NFL cleared the way for some of its basic football operations to begin Friday, five days after a federal judge declared the owners' lockout illegal.
