American Erin Pac Takes Bronze in Bobsled Race

Canada's Kaillie Humphries has won gold in Olympic women's bobsled, beating teammate Helen Upperton.

Humphries was an alternate brakeman four years ago in Turin, losing her spot to Heather Moyse in Upperton's sled. But the two teamed up to win at the Vancouver Games, finishing four runs down the blistering-fast Whistler Sliding Center track in 3 minutes, 32.28 seconds.

The gold was Canada's seventh of the games, putting it in a three-way tie with Germany and the United States.

Upperton was second in 3:33.13 for the silver, and Erin Pac of the United States took the bronze in 3:33.40.

Upperton and Moyse missed a bronze by .05 seconds four years ago.

American Shauna Rohbock, who called the speedy track "stupid fast" after a training run last week, finished sixth
