San Diego State's women's basketball team opens the NCAA Tournament against DePaul.

The stars have aligned for the SDSU. Not only did they earn an at-large berth into the tournament, they get to play the first round at home.

The Aztecs are the  No. 10 seed in the Berkeley Regional.  They open up with the seventh seed, the DePaul Blue Demons.  If the Aztecs advance to the second round. they'll likely face the second seed, the Stanford Cardinal.  Stanford opens with UC Santa Barbara.  The Cardinals lost to Tennessee in last year's NCAA title game.

The Aztecs have a great chance to win their first two games. They went undefeated at Cox Arena this season. Their first game is Saturday afternoon.
