Jose Canseco to Take the Field Again

Jose Canseco is making a comeback. He's bringing his twin brother with him, too.

It's not with a major league team, though.

Jose and Ozzie Canseco have joined the Yuma Scorpions of the independent North American League, where they'll serve as player/coaches.

Jose, who hit 462 homers in 17 big-league seasons, will serve as manager and Ozzie will be both bench coach and hitting coach. The brothers will bat third and fourth, according to the team, with Jose expected to play first base and designated hitter.

Jose hasn't played in the majors for a decade, but joined the Laredo Broncos in the independent United League for 11 games last year.

The North American League starts its first season on May 24.
