Gordon Ruled OUT for Chargers vs. Raiders

Running back's injury opens spot for a familiar face

The Chargers will not have starting running back Melvin Gordon for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders at Qualcomm Stadium.

Gordon has been ruled OUT after suffering hip and knee injuries in last week's loss to the Panthers in Charlotte. Undrafted rookie back Kenneth Farrow will step in to the starting rotation for Gordon.

It also likely means former SDSU star Ronnie Hillman will be active for his first game as a San Diego Charger.

The only other Chargers starter who will likely not be available is cornerback Craig Mager. He is doubtful with a shoulder injury. Everyone else is at least a 50-50 shot to play.
