New year, new contract -- and new ink for Colin Kaepernick.

And, unsurprisingly, the 49ers' quarterback's new tattoo is all about money, TMZ noted.

Kaepernick, fresh off the inking of a $126 million contract that makes him the second-highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, had himself inked -- with a warning of sorts

The saying goes that "Money is the root of all evil." And Kap is taking that to heart -- and to flesh, with his newest tattoo.

Kaepernick posted the image of a snake -- Adam and Eve, anyone? -- emerging from a pile of money with the caption reminding all where evil arises.

Cash, and lots of it.
