Chicken Rules the Roost at Hall of Champions

The San Diego Chicken, aka Ted Giannoulas, has been inducted into the Hall of Champions.
Giannoulas is a graduate of Hoover High School, which celebrated its 80th anniversary.
The semi-retired Chicken, whose antics entertained large crowds, still ranks first in Forbes magazine's survey of 10 most-liked sports mascots.
Two other Hoover grads were also inducted on Saturday; former NFL quarterback Tony Banks and Todd Doxey, who played football at the University of Oregon before he died in a swimming accident in 2008.
