Chargers Round Out Their Practice Squad

Three more players added to the roster

The Chargers have filled up their practice squad to the full 10 men they're allowed to keep. QB Brad Sorensen, TE Alex Bayer and OL Michael Ola are all under contract in San Diego.

Bolts fans already know Sorensen. He was drafted by the team in the 7th round in 2013 and got the majority of the snaps at QB in this year's preseason. Sorensen completed 38 of 69 passes for 336 yards and a touchdown and three interceptions. He was also sacked five times.

Bayer comes over from the Rams, where he played in six games a year ago after signing as an undrafted free agent from Bowling Green. Interestingly, when the Rams and Chargers met at Qualcomm Stadium last year, Bayer is the guy who fell on the ball when Keenan Allen muffed a punt.

Ola has something the Chargers love in their offensive linemen: versatility. Ola started 12 games for the Bears in 2014, seeing time at left tackle, left guard, right tackle and right guard. Ola is a product of Hampton University who spent two years in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes before landing in Chicago.
