A wide receiver who made a big play on Sunday is looking for work.

The Chargers tweeted Monday that they had released Chris Chambers, who began the year as a starter. His performance on the field, however, prompted a significant reduction on the playing field. Since the season began, he has nine receptions for 122 yards, including one for 20 yards on third down in the third quarter against the Raiders on Sunday. The Bolts beat the Raiders, 24-16.

The Bolts Web site confirmed the release of Chambers, who was picked up from the Dolphins in 2007.
