Here’s your look around the country at what experts are saying about this week’s Chargers-Jets match-up:
NBC’s ProFootball Talk: Mike Florio chose the Jets to edge the Bolts 13-10. Michael David Smith said it was going to be the Chargers by a hair, 17-10.
ESPN: Seven of 12 NFL experts picked San Diego to beat New York.
Yahoo! Sports: Jets swept the table, three-for-three.
NFL Network’s ‘Around the League’: Three of the five NFL analysts said the Chargers would win.
Amanda’s Take: The Jets are on the national stage for their QB drama. To quote Abraham Lincoln, “a house divided against itself cannot stand.” Greg McElroy got the start over incumbent Mark Sanchez and publicity stunt Tim Tebow, you can bet that locker room is divided. The Chargers are going in there bruised, and out of playoff contention. But a man’s job is still plenty to play for. This game is going to be slow and more than likely, sloppy. But, a bad team will be better than a confused team.
Amanda’s Pick: Chargers 17, Jets 13.
