Chula Vista, Calif.'s Nick Conlin (8) celebrates with teammates Luke Ramierz, left, Andy Rios, right, and Bradley Roberto, right center, after scoring from third on a wild pitch by Warner Robins, Ga. pitcher Conner Smirth during Little League World Series United States semi-final baseball game in South Williamsport, Pa., Thursday, Aug. 27. Chula Vista won 11-10. At left rear is Chula Vista coach Ric Ramirez.

Here's yet another honor for our hometown heroes, Little League World Series Champs the Park View All Stars.

The team that brought international attention to Chula Vista in August by beating Taoyuan, Taiwan 6-3 has received hero's welcome, VIP access to a Chargers practice, star treatment at a Padres game inside Petco Park, a trip to Hollywood to visit Conan O'Brien and, most recently, their own trading cards.

Now the Blue Bombers will add Grand Marshals to their resume. The Mother Goose Parade Association announced the team will serve as grand marshals for the annual El Cajon tradition.

The parade is usually jam packed with celebrities. You can be a part of the fun by getting to East Main Street at Magnolia -- or anywhere along the parade route -- by 10 a.m. Sunday Nov. 22.

The Park View All Stars were the first San Diego County team to make bring home the World Series Championship in 48 years.
