Local radio fans, Cookie "Chainsaw" Randolph is back!
Randolph has started writing a column for our friends at 619sports.Net. Craig Elsten and Chris Ello, who are frequent guests on NBCSanDiego Sports Wrap, formally introduced Chainsaw at a tweetup at the Tilted Kilt on Tuesday night.
So how did 619Sports land the radio icon? Mutual respect.
"They're tireless, great writers, and I thought it would be fun to write a column -- a humor column, on 619Sports.net," Randolph said. "I was invited, and I said, 'Yeah, this is fun, I want to do it."
Randolph did Sports Takes on the Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw show and plans on bringing that franchise to 619Sports.Net.
"I am thrilled to join Craig Elsten and Chris Ello on this Web site," Randolph wrote in a 619Sports post. "It is growing into the best online destination for the San Diego sports fan ever."
