As expected there will be no change at manager for the Padres in 2015. In a dugout press conference on Monday General Manager made official what most close to the Padres already knew, Bud Black is keeping his job.
"I think at the end of the day we have a common sense of what we need to do to the ball club. I think there is a mutual respect there," Preller said.
In eight seasons as skipper of the Padres Black has two winning seasons ('07 & '10). He is under contract through 2015.
