Broncos vs. Chargers: Who To Watch For

Three Players Who Will Impact Sunday's Game

The Chargers and Broncos meet on Monday night at the Q. Here's a trio of Bolts to keep your eye on.

1) Ryan Mathews. He's only faced Denver three times, but the Broncos already hate seeing him. Mathews has rushed for 120, 125, and 137 yards against Denver. Now that he's held on to the football for two straight games, Ryan will likely get another shot at breaking the century mark on Monday.

2) Corey Liuget. The last two games, the 2nd-year defensive end has been a wrecking ball. He spent a bunch of time in the Chiefs backfield (and forced a fumble) two weeks ago, then got a sack and a handful of pressures on Drew Brees in New Orleans. He's big, strong and fast, and his knowledge of the game might be catching up to his physical skill.

3) Eric Weddle. The All-Pro safety is having another solid season, and he has a history against Peyton Manning. He's faced the future Hall of Famer three times. In those games (including the 2008 playoffs) Weddle has picked off Manning twice, returning one 41 yards for a touchdown. That play came two years ago. Weddle is a whole lot better now.
