After beating UNLV Saturday at the Q, SDSU's eight-win season is the most in 14 years and will allow the team to go bowling for the first time since 1998.
What a season it's been for San Diego State University head football coach Brady Hoke and his Aztecs.
After beating UNLV Saturday at the Q, SDSU's eight-win season is the most in 14 years and will allow the team to go bowling for the first time since 1998.
"We finished the season in Aztec Warrior Stadium the way we wanted to as a football team," Hoke said.
It remains to be seen if Hoke will be on the sidelines to coach the Aztecs in what likely will be a Poinsettia Bowl berth versus Navy.
The coach wasn't talking about his coaching future Sunday but was proud of his team's efforts against UNLV, especially the seniors.
"They're a bunch of guys who have accepted a philosophical change and a transition and have done a tremendous job," Hoke said.
