The Aztecs will be looking for another Mountain West Conference title in 2010-11.

The Mountain West Conference released its preseason media poll on Tuesday, and San Diego State is on top.

The Aztecs were picked to finish first, receiving 21 of the possible 30 first-place votes.  BYU is second, followed by New Mexico and UNLV.

The preseason All-Conference selections were also revealed, with a pair of Aztecs representing. Senior forward Malcolm Thomas and sophomore forward Kawhi Leonard both made the first team. Leonard is the only underclassman to make the cut.

The Aztecs are ranked in the Top 25 in three different preseason polls. San Diego State has won 20 or more games and played in a postseason tournament (including last year's NCAA tournament) each of the last five years.

San Diego State plays an exhibition game against Point Loma Nazarene University on Nov. 8 at Viejas Arena. The first regular season game is Nov. 13 at Long Beach State.
