Aztecs meet Brady Hoke. Brady Hoke meet Aztec fans. Hoke was introduced as the new head football coach at San Diego State University news conference Tuesday.

SDSU officially named Hoke as its new head football coach on Monday.  Hoke, who led Ball State to a 12-1 record, was also a candidate for the head coaching job at Auburn. One of the main reasons Brady is leaving Ball State is money.  He made $240,000 this season.  The Aztecs are expected to pay at least $700,000.

The Aztecs fired coach Chuck Long after three  unsuccessful seasons. Hoke's brother John, who once coached at San Diego State, is currently the secondary coach for the Houston Texan.
