Good things are afoot at San Diego State.
Starting about 6 months ago, Aztec sports teams have been playing at a ridiculously high level.
The women's basketball team reached the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament. The men made it to the NIT Final Four.
Now the baseball team is ranked 15th in the nation, the men's golf team is 20th and the water polo team is 7th. That's darn impressive.
Now, if only the football team can keep it going in the Fall.
The Aztecs have another scrimmage on Saturday.
This Spring camp has been a lot more demanding than the last few years.
New head coach Brady Hoke spends a lot of time with his voice at maximum volume, and he expects his players to match his intensity.
"We got to be a lot more crisp and take care of the ball better," said Hoke. "That's what Spring Ball is pretty much all about."
