Aztecs Bandwagon Has Room

If you haven't jumped on the Aztecs bandwagon, there's still time. As long as you agree with the following statement: We can really win this.

While the team and Coach Fisher may be focusing on No. 3 University of Connecticut, San Diego State University students, alumni and fans are starting to realize the fact that the team can go all the way.

"Absolutely, it's the Sweet 16. It's the 16 teams that are left standing and when you get to this point, you are a good team," said UCSD basketball coach Chris Carlson.

"You have to sit there and go, 'Hey, we are good enough to do this,'"  Carlson said.

With their next game Thursday at 4:15 p.m. in Anaheim, the Aztecs have had a few days to figure out what went wrong against Temple and what to do about it before facing UCONN.

While you're considering where you will be to watch the game, consider these local spots. Also, the SDSU Alumni Association is taking reservations for a tailgating party in Anaheim across the street from the Honda Center.
