The Aztecs are currently 14th in the nation and will no doubt move up a few spots when the new rankings come out Monday.
Head coach, Steve Fisher, said he was cautiously optimistic about what could be a very special season for the Aztecs.
The team is ranked 15th on the ESPN/USA Today’s Coaches’ top 25 and will take on Cal State Poly tonight at Viejas Arena.
