Dueling rallies in Oceanside on Friday evening will call on politicians to be more responsive to the wishes of the people.
But what the politicians should do will depend on which group is speaking.
A group of union and other liberal-leaning activists gathered under the banner "Rally for America" is scheduled to begin its activities at 5:30 p.m. at the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza at Coast Highway and Pier View Way.
