Just days before the general election, President Barack Obama spoke at a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton in Miami to urge voters to sway the crucial battleground of Florida.

The campaign rally for Clinton was held Thursday morning at Florida International University.

It's Obama's second visit to Florida in a week, after campaigning in Orlando on Sunday. White House spokesman Eric Schultz says Obama is spending most of the week encouraging voters in key states to show up at the polls because the election result will depend on turnout.

Obama spent Wednesday night in Miami. The White House says he met privately with friends and supporters to discuss his future foundation.

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton were in South Florida Tuesday at separate campaign rallies. Hillary campaigns in North Carolina Thursday.

Obama told voters in Miami where their closest voting booth was, even giving the exact address. And he said Trump would abuse his presidential powers if he is elected president on Tuesday, reiterating what he told voters in North Carolina — that "the republic is at risk" if Trump wins Tuesday.

He mentioned the trip to North Carolina as well, saying he noticed that gas prices there had crept under $2 — while Republicans had promised when he first ran for president that they would jump to $6.

"Sometimes it's useful to check the tape, see what they said before. It turns out what they said was wrong, so what that means is what they're saying now is also wrong," Obama said.

President Donald Trump held a campaign-style rally in Melbourne, Florida, Saturday evening. Thousands of the president's supporters attended the rally, which was held in a hangar at the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport. The president once again slammed the media for telling so-called lies about his administration. The president also told supporters that his administration is running "smoothly."

He pivoted to his message for voters, saying that Trump and other Republicans only promised to tear down his accomplishments, and didn't have any proposals of their own.

"Come on, you can't just be against something, you've gotta be for something!" Obama said.
