A Florida sheriff's direct warning to drug dealers in an alarming and widely shared Facebook video to help tackle America's heroin epidemic has gone viral, NBC News reported.

In the recent video, which has since been shared more than 10,000 times, Lake County Sheriff Peyton Grinnell speaks at a podium, flanked by four deputies wearing black face masks.

"To the dealers, I have a message for you: we're coming for you," Grinnell said above an ominous soundtrack. "Enjoy looking over your shoulders and constantly wondering if today's the day."

Grinnel also spoke to the county's citizens concerned with the number of overdoses related to heroin. He asked them to help by sharing any information they have on the offenders' locations.
