Obama: “No Apologies” for Bergdahl Swap

President Barack Obama said Thursday he will make "no apologies" for exchanging five Taliban detainees for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl captured in Afghanistan, NBC News reported. "This is somebody's child," he told a press conference in Brussels. The decision to swap Bergdahl - who was held captive for five years - has draw criticism from lawmakers, saying the move amounts to negotiating with terrorists and others furious that Congress was not notified. White House officials have said Congress was not consulted because Bergdahl's health was deteriorating.
