Missing Model Found by Police

The 26-year-old was found Thursday morning

A 26-year-old woman who went missing last week has been found by the San Diego Police Department.

Susie Caldwell, who works as a model, disappeared on Oct. 26 when she was last seen walking to a bus stop near Lanning Road and Harbor Drive. Caldwell was supposed to go an appointment in the Cortez area, but never arrived. Family members were concerned about her disappearance and reported her as a missing person.

An SDPD parking enforcement officer recognized Caldwell from a missing persons poster when he saw her walking downtown on Thursday morning. Police contacted her and Caldwell has been reunited with her family.

Caldwell's sister spoke with an NBC San Diego reporter and said Susie was found wearing the same clothes she was last seen in. The sister said officers told her that Caldwell seemed confused and they do not believe she was harmed.

Caldwell has been battling depression and anxiety, according to her sister. She is being held at San Diego Psychiatric Hospital.
