NorCal Official Arrested in Gaslamp

An Northern California official was arrested after a fight in downtown San Diego on Labor Day, according to police.

Sonoma supervisor Efren Carrillo, 31, was apprehended in the Gaslamp district for his alleged involvement in a fight, which sent a man to the hospital. He was charged with serious bodily injury and misdemeanor disturbing the peace.

Carrillo later bailed out of jail.

A second man, 22-year-old Rayan Jastaniyah, was also arrested on and charged with disturbing the peace. A 30-year-old man was Arizona was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
