Victim Robbed at Gunpoint Near SDSU

Suspect pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the victim

A victim was robbed at gunpoint on the San Diego State University campus on Monday morning on the 5400 block of Montezuma Rd., according to SDSU police.

Between 1:10 a.m. and 1:15 a.m. two men pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the victim and demanded the victim’s property. 

The suspects returned to a white older model two-door car with a chrome grill, which drove off westbound on Montezuma Road toward Fairmount Avenue.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspect yielding the gun was described as an African American or Hispanic male standing around 6’0” with a slender build. The male drive was described as an African American or Hispanic male.  One of the suspects may have been wearing a jersey.

San Diego Police Department is investigating the incident.
