Three men were fatally shot by gunmen riding in vehicles in another bloody weekend of violence in Tijuana, according to a published report.

A fourth man's corpse was later found, but it's unclear if his slaying was connected to the incident. In all 10 people -- including a policeman -- were killed in Tijuana this weekend. More than 4,000 people have been killed this year across Mexico as drug gangs lash back at Calderon's national crackdown on organized crime.

Three suspects were taken into custody by police Sunday night, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. The paper reported that the men were found with the body of a gagged, bound man who had been killed.

Angel Sandoval, 26, was killed by armed men riding in a blue Nissan Xterra in colonia Jardines Rubi at about 12:45 a.m., the paper reported. Dozens of spent shells were found after the slaying. About five hours later, killers in a Nissan Pathfinder killed Tomas Osorio Galindo, 42,  in colonia Mariano Matamoros, according to the Union-Tribune.

A third man, Pedro Alberto Alatorre Arroyo, 25, was killed in colonia Villas de Baja California while he was driving in his Honda, the paper reported.
