Honolulu match-up gives four local players a memorable vacation

Several Chargers players enjoyed their Hawaiian vacation over the weekend at the Pro Bowl game in Honolulu.

Rivers tied the game in the second quarter with a strike to Brandon Marshall. Marshall finished with four touchdown catches.

Then at the end of the half, Rivers went to Antonio Gates. Eric Weddle was the standout on defense. He picked off Cam Newton twice. Vincent Jackson and Ryan Mathews also made a couple good plays.

Gates pulled in a 27-yard TD from Rivers as time expired in the half to tie it at 28, the Associated Press reported.
