Interstate 5 has reopened following a chemical spill that happened Wednesday morning near Basilone Road and Camino Capistrano Road.
Traffic was brought to a temporary standstill on I-5 while HAZMAT cleaned the roads.
By early afternoon, HAZMAT cleared the pool chemicals that leaked onto the highway and traffic is allowed through the northbound lanes.
