A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion that he is responsible for nearly 40 individual counts of misdemeanor vandalism, according to the sheriff’s department.
The tagging incidents occurred in multiple areas throughout San Marcos from last September to January. The estimated damages cost has yet to be released.
San Diego Sheriff’s Department searched the juvenile’s home and found evidence relating to graffiti in his home.
The boy has been transported to Juvenile Hall in Kearny Mesa and his identity is protected since he is a minor.
