Zeppelin Breaks Flight Record

With a landing in San Diego, the world distance record for modern airships was broken.

The Zepplin "Eureka" which is owned by Airship Ventures landed Wednesday night at Brown Field.

The crew departed from the San Francisco area to complete the ten-hour, 460-mile flight.

The journey shattered the previous record set by a Russian team by more than 70-miles.

The "Eureka," as it is known, is considered to be the largest airship and is one of only three Zeppelin aircraft in the world.
