2 Women Killed in San Carlos Collision Identified

Two women killed in a crash on Navaja Road in San Carlos Friday were identified.

Two women who were killed in a traffic collision in San Carlos early Friday were identified, officials confirmed.

Clarina Rabe Chu, one of the victims, was an 88-year-old woman who lived in San Diego, according to San Diego Police. 

The other woman killed in the crash was Marjorie Bialk, 76, who resided in San Diego. She was driving a Toyota Camry north on Park Ridge Boulevard through the intersection at Navajo Park and Park Ridge Boulevard.

That's when Chu, driving a Prius, ran a red light and fatally smashed into the Camry, according to San Diego Police.

Neither of the victims in the fatal crash had criminal records, said SDPD officers. The incident was located near Patrick Henry High School.

Both women were taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital where they died from their injuries.
