San Diego police are investigating one woman's claim that she was touched inappropriately by a cab driver in downtown San Diego.
According to investigators, a cab picked up the woman in Little Italy around 1:30 a.m. Friday. During the ride around the downtown area, the cab driver suggested he drive her in his personal car so as to avoid charging her, police said.
The woman agreed and then alleges that once inside the cab driver's Volvo, the man touched her inappropriately, according to investigators.
Police officers detained the cab driver for questioning and the Volvo has been impounded while the San Diego Police Sex Crimes Unit investigates further.
