Cops Nab Would-Be Bank Robber Armed with Rock

Someone tried to break into a San Diego-area bank by smashing through the front door early Thursday.

San Diego County sheriff's deputies were called to the Wells Fargo on Jamacha Road in Rancho San Diego around 1:45 a.m.

Someone had smashed the front door to the bank deputies said.

One suspect was arrested.

Officials say they don't believe anything was taken.
