Yuma residents can have a front-row seat to observe Marine Corps training in action.
A six-week weapons tactics instructor course now underway at the Marine Corps' air station in Yuma will feature a mock humanitarian assistance mission.
It'll be staged at multiple sites in the southwestern Arizona city on the evening of April 18.
The exercise will involve the insertion of a security force and medical personnel, with landing sites that will include a park and a school and flights to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
The Yuma Sun reports that spectators are welcome.
