San Diego firefighters responded to a fire in University City just before 6 a.m. Wednesday.
When crews arrived to the home in the 6800 block of Fisk Avenue, they found heavy smoke and flames.
Four people were in the home at the time the fire started. Firefighters said it appears the fire started in the kitchen.
Within 5 minutes, the fire was knocked down. Crews called in the Metro Arson Strike Team to investigate the cause.
