An undercover prostitution sting at a Vista spa led to the arrests of three women, according to investigators.
Deputies were looking into allegations of illegal prostitution occurring at the Transcend Spa on Sycamore Avenue over the last several weeks.
“Along with receiving reports of a high volume of males visiting the location at various hours of the day and evening, the Sheriff's Department also received complaints of prostitution activity occurring at the Spa by female masseuses,” said Sgt. J. Mata.
Three men were interviewed and released.
Three women were arrested.
Business proprietor, Lin Lin Zheng, 54, was cited for unlawful touching, no proper ledgers, unlawful advertisement, and not having the proper business insurance.
Zhi Tan, 48, and Xinhui Lu Vincent, 39, were cited for various violations and released on their written promise to appear in court for their respective violations.
